Ariel Rose started choreographing when he was eleven years old through Ballet Academy East’s choreographic workshop started by Francis Patrelle and Julia Dubno. This evening’s one off performance reflects a watershed point in the creative journey than has resulted since then. With a love for the classical arts, Ariel has choreographed over thirty five ballets - the last dozen in Miami while dancing for the Miami City Ballet. These works, reflect Ariel’s love for the art form - yearning to keep the classical vocabulary and sensitive musicality relevant.

Ballet Rose: Made in Miami - is a performance built upon artists who all have ties to Miami City Ballet. it is an export of the work, the passion and the artistry often shared with it’s South Florida Audiences. All of these works were originally choreographed by Ariel on their dancers and This program would not be made possible without the contributions of both Miami City Ballet and those dancers both past and present.
